I live not even half a mile from this place. During the off times us locals sometimes give this place needed business, although most people don't go there, and for a very good reason. They loot people with their prices, they don't price anything and don't give an itemized receipt at check out, and make up whatever prices they want when you go to the register. Which is always wayyyy too much for basic items. I have still given them business despite this, and spoken like a loyal, friendly customer whenever I go in -- I am one of their very very few local customers during down times. Now when it snowed over 2 feet on Christmas, and their store is packed with a ton of customers coming through, stuck in traffic outside their door because of bad weather, (which means great business for them!!) now they want to give me an attitude?? Both the man and woman who own the store are extremely rude and disrespectful to patrons who should NOT be giving them business in the first place! The lady was so rude today, she even ripped the card machine away from me after I entered my pin. Really?????? I wish I never gave you one dollar of my business. Ever. Your business ethic is disgusting and you should be shut down.

We were trying to go up the mountain but they said snow chains are required so we had to drive back down 12 miles and we ended up at Arrowbear liquor store. They said they had chains but they were $200 but they were willing to give it to us for $189 no tax. We kind of had no choice but to get them cause it was already 7pm and it was dark so we didn't want to drive back. And the lady told us if we did drive back they will be sold out or the stores will be closed so we just thought thats true. What if we do drive back all the way down and everythings closed then we have to drive back home. Ok so we just bought the way over priced chains. Oh yea also they didn't have our exact size so she said this one will work it will be a little big but it will work. So we drive back up 12 miles and guess what?! It doesn't fit! So we drive back down and got another pair and went back up. SO cause of them we had to drive like 48 miles extra. I was so mad and annoyed! And its not like they were cheap either. The Cal trans guy that installed our snow chains said they were ripping us off big time he said if we went down a little more we could have got them for $75 for a truck. Dont get ripped off by them please. I am going to let everyone know. And almost everything in there store is overpriced!
